Focus Scripture:
Matthew 13:3–9; Mark 4:3–9; Luke 8:4–8
Devotional Thought
Jesus paints a picture of faith through a farmer sowing seed. Notice: “A farmer went out.” The seed was not meant to stay stored—it had to be planted. In the same way, God’s Word in us is not for keeping hidden but for sharing.
Just as my parents prepared the land back in the village—clearing, manuring, and inviting others to help—we too must prepare our hearts through the Word (Psalm 119:11 AMP). If we have no seed, we cannot sow. But if we treasure the Word in our hearts, we’ll always be ready to go out and plant it in the lives of others.
Verse to Memorise:
Matthew 13:8 ESV
“But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Application
